HARRY POTTER DAY!

Happy Harry Potter Day you saucy minxes! Yay! Let me tell you about my day.

So, I wake up, not even bothering to search for beloved ER. I know what's going on. So I simply awoke, changed my shorts, washed my face, put in fresh contacts, fixed hair and went out for a walk. Town was a little more dead at this hour [9:30] though there was this big community yard sale going on, which attracted some out-of-the-area folk. Anyway, came home, had sustinence, watched some television, called my father, watched more television, had a shake for lunch [I'm not minding this diet after all. I eat candy bars and shakes allll day and I've lost three pounds. It's only been a week or two. It's kind of growing on me.] and then called Justin. Bless his heart, he was asleep. At 5 Michigan time. Aaw, that is so cute. I think back to the few times I watched him sleep on the couch next to me and how tender I felt towards him. How cute. So I got done talking with his grandmother, said, "Aaw," and took a shower. Then I hurried m&b out of the house as fast as my rear would gear me, then we went to Barnes & Noble. Stood in line for an hour with nice lovely Harry Potter fans such as myself outside just to get a bracelet slapped on my wrist with a number. 071. I would be the 71st person to have Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Well, it doesn't exaclty REALLY work that way, but it's pretty damn close. Anyway, while we were in line, this boy put on a cloak. M stepped right up in his face and said, "Oh! It looks like I can stand here because the person in front of us got out of line! Oh, wait, that isn't an invisibility cloak...you're still here." M!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My, God, I was so embarassed. Sigh. She had a grand laugh at that. Anyway. Well, it was only 6:30 when we were done in line so we had to do other things. So, we went to Qdoba's for dinner and then went to Target next door for something to do. Found gorgey eye color that I wanted, showed mom, then said "Oh, I didn't want it anyway. It's expensive, I'll put it back." So m waited at the end of the aisle, watched me put it back, and then when I was near her again she said, "Well, I'll get it for you..." I really wanted it but at that point all I had the energy to say was, "Oh, thanks for telling me that after I put it back." She laughed and said I could get it next time. Yay! I can being wearing make up again. Anyway.

After the Target extraveganza, we went to see Fantastic 4 at the cinema across the street. It was a very funny, entertaining film. I'll probably never see it again, and I really don't have much of a desire to...I mean, it was great, sure, but it was good for what it was worth. I wouldn't buy it. I do reccomend it in the theater, though, for a fun experience.

We went back to Barnes & Noble a little before ten and I wished I had friends with me right away. Everyone looked like they were having so much fun. Some people were lying down, underneath tables, playing cards and drinking Starbucks, others were camped out in corners, reading Harry Potter books out loud. There was a cute HP-loving couple that were so adorable. Made me miss Justin. Anyhow, when the lady said, "All yellow-wristbandd-wearers with numbers 1-100 can begin lining up at the red line," I HAULED ASS to the front of the store, thinking I would be at least in the top ten. Au contraire. I was not quite that ahead in line, but I was sandwiched between the same boy and girl as the first line. We found ourselves talking straight, hard, Harry Potter talk for the next half hour, up until about a minute till midnight, when the entire store began to count down. It felt so liberating almost, and certainly refreshing, to be able to express my love for my first true love without feeling so nerdy. I was proud to be there with that girl and boy, asking then when they thought Ron and Hermione were going to hook up, and what it is about Snape and Dumbledore...why does he trust him? And so on and so forth, up until it was my turn to purchase my book. When I did, I spotted a big box of green rubber bracelets. With my never ending fever needing a cure [rubber bracelets], I leaned over the counter and said, "OH! OH! What are those for!?" He explained that they were special Harry Potter bracelets. I begged mum for one before he told me that they are sticking them in everyone's bags for free anyway. Oh. Well, cool! So, I got the book, the bracelet, a poster, and then I also bought a little tiny pocket notebook that has polka dots all over it. I thought it was cute. I don't know what I'll write in it, though. I imagine I can carry it around in my purse or bookbag and use it to write numbers and e-mails and task lists and reminders and the like. Whatever. I didn't need it. I just thought it was pretty.

Anyway! I'm out of here. I'm so tired. I just wanted to tell you about my Harry Potter adventure. Now I'm off to use the potty, brush my teeth, and take out the vision providers. Then it's off to bed. Beddy bed bed. Sounds so warm and inviting. Hell, LOOKS so warm and inviting. It's right behind me. Ooooooh I may just have to give into temptation and begin HPH-BP. I don't particularly want to - I want to have it available as a clean slate for at least a few weeks. I would hate to finish it in just a day or two, instead of savouring the wonderful experience. What the hell am I talking about?! I'm SO TIRED! NIGHT! LOVE AND NUNCHUCKS!
